Formstork

COMPARISON

A form backend that doesn't make you choose

Most form services trade a real dashboard for free volume, lock you to one host, or put your form on someone else's domain. Here is how Formstork stacks up against Formspree, Web3Forms, FormSubmit, Netlify Forms and Google Forms.

A generous free tier and a real dashboard

Web3Forms gives volume but only an email pipeline. Formspree gives a dashboard but caps free at 50 a month. Formstork gives 250 a month with a searchable, taggable inbox and CSV plus JSON export, free.

More submissions per dollar, nothing gatekept

Pro is 10,000 submissions a month for $12 with the API, autoresponders, webhooks and forever retention included. No jumping tiers to unlock a feature you need.

For non-developers too

A no-code hosted form builder with multi-step forms and conditional fields. Formspree is code-first, Web3Forms only generates static HTML. One product for your whole team.

The strongest spam stack, even on free

Honeypot, a smart content filter, and all three CAPTCHAs (Turnstile, hCaptcha, reCAPTCHA), plus a rules engine to route, block or flag by field value.

Frequently asked questions

What is a form backend?

A form backend receives submissions from your HTML form, stores them, and delivers them to your email and tools, so you do not have to run a server. Formstork, Formspree, Web3Forms and others are form backends.

Which form backend has the biggest free plan here?

On free volume Formstork and Web3Forms lead at 250 submissions a month; Netlify Forms gives 100 and Formspree 50. FormSubmit and Google Forms are effectively unlimited but store nothing searchable.

Can I switch form backends without changing my HTML?

Mostly yes. With Formstork you change your form's action to our endpoint and add your access key. Your existing fields keep working, there is nothing to migrate.

Is Formstork a good alternative to Formspree and Web3Forms?

Formstork matches or beats them on the free tier and adds a rules engine, a no-code builder and client SDKs. The one thing Formspree still has that Formstork does not is native Stripe payments.
