Turn form submissions into Mailchimp subscribers

Formstork takes the POST from your HTML form and subscribes the person to your Mailchimp audience. No Zapier, no glue code, no server to run.

How it works

When a form reaches Formstork with an email field, Formstork subscribes that address to the Mailchimp audience you choose. It is an idempotent upsert, so if the same person submits again the existing contact is updated instead of creating a duplicate. If the submission includes a name, Formstork splits it into the FNAME and LNAME merge fields; if there is no email, nothing is sent to Mailchimp.

A record you keep

Every submission is saved in your Formstork dashboard and subscribed to Mailchimp. You keep the full data even if the contact later unsubscribes, and if Mailchimp is unreachable the subscribe is retried automatically.

No duplicate contacts

Formstork subscribes with an idempotent upsert keyed on the email address. Someone filling out the form twice updates the same Mailchimp contact instead of creating a second one.

Names, already sorted

When your form sends a name, Formstork splits it into the FNAME and LNAME merge fields. Your audience arrives with real names attached, not just bare email addresses.

Set it up

  2. 2Choose Mailchimp, then paste your API key (keep the -usXX data center suffix) and your Audience ID.
  3. 3Make sure your form posts an email field to Formstork.

How do I connect my form to Mailchimp?

Point your HTML form's action at Formstork and add your access key, then open Integrations in the dashboard, choose Mailchimp, and paste your API key and Audience ID. From then on, every submission with an email is subscribed for you.

Do I need Zapier or any code?

No. If you already have an HTML form, you only change its action to Formstork and add a hidden access key. Connecting Mailchimp is just pasting two keys in the dashboard, there is nothing to deploy or maintain.

Is the Mailchimp integration free?
