Formstork

ZAPIER INTEGRATION

Connect your form to Zapier with a signed webhook

Formstork forwards every form submission to Zapier through its built-in signed webhook. You point it at a Zapier Catch Hook URL, and each submission triggers your Zap, ready to fan out to thousands of apps.

How it works

Formstork does not have a native Zapier app, and it does not need one. You connect the two with Formstork's built-in signed webhook. In Zapier you create a Zap that starts with a Webhooks by Zapier trigger set to Catch Hook, which gives you a custom URL. You paste that URL into the Webhooks integration in your Formstork dashboard. From then on, every submission POSTs to Zapier as JSON with all of your form fields, triggering the Zap. Each request carries an HMAC-SHA256 signature header, so your Zap can verify it really came from Formstork. Inside the Zap you map the fields to any of the thousands of apps Zapier supports.

Reach the whole Zapier catalog

Once a submission reaches Zapier, you can route it to any of the thousands of apps Zapier connects to, from your CRM to a spreadsheet to a project tool, without writing integration code for each one.

Signed, so you can trust the payload

Every request Formstork sends carries an HMAC-SHA256 signature header. If you want to confirm a payload really came from Formstork, you can verify it with your signing secret in a Zap step or your own filter.

Nothing lost, nothing to maintain

Formstork stores every submission in your dashboard and retries webhook delivery automatically with backoff. If Zapier is briefly unreachable, the submission is not dropped, and there is no server or middleware for you to run.

Set it up

  1. 1In Zapier, create a Zap that starts with the Webhooks by Zapier trigger, choose Catch Hook, and copy the custom webhook URL it gives you.
  2. 2In the Formstork dashboard, open Integrations and select Webhooks.
  3. 3Paste the Zapier Catch Hook URL as the endpoint and save.
  4. 4Submit your form once to test. Each submission now POSTs to Zapier and triggers your Zap, where you map the fields to any downstream app.
